Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to managers of vessels.
• Communicate with Fleet Operational Services for technical data.
• Organise vessels' service attendances.
• Ensure surveys and certificates are current.
• Plan regular maintenance and service requests.
• Review and handle service bills from vendors.
• Help with repair database preparation.
• Support the creation of repair specifications.
• Monitor projects and major alterations.
• Schedule and collaborate with local agents.
• Review pro-forma and vendor bills.
• Distribute and archive vessel manuals and service records.
• Monitor machinery undergoing repair.

Job description

• Provide assistance to managers of vessels.

• Organising the vessels' service attendances.
• Ensuring that all surveys and certificates are current in cooperation with vessel managers date.
• Plan regular maintenance and requests for service engineers and technicians in accordance with the vessel as instructed by the managers of the vessel.
• Review and handle service bills from vendors.
• Helping with the compilation and repair database preparation and upkeep Dock Details.
• Support the creation and examination of yard tender analyses and repair specifications.
• Monitoring of projects and major improvements and alterations.
• Scheduling and collaborating with the local agent on different aspects of husbandry.
• Review pro-forma, final, and vendor bills.
• Distributing, maintaining, and archiving instruction manuals, vessel designs, and records service announcements for ships and their crews.
• Monitoring of machinery undergoing repair or shore servicing.
