A maritime operations company in Singapore seeks a results-oriented professional to coordinate vessel maintenance and technical services. The candidate will ensure all surveys, repairs, and certificates are up to date while supporting Vessel Managers in dry dock. Responsibilities include liaising with fleet operations, reviewing repair specifications, managing records, and assisting the purchasing department. A strong background in fleet operations or maritime technical support is preferred.
Responsibilities
Liaise with Fleet Operational Services regarding updated technical information and practices.
Coordinate service attendances to the vessels.
Work alongside Vessel Managers to ensure all surveys and certificates are up to date.
Check repair specifications and follow with service providers.
Arrange routine repairs/requisitions for service engineers/technicians as per vessel requests.
Review and process services invoices from Vendors.
Assist with preparation and maintenance of the repair database and compilation of Dry-Dock Specifications.
Assist with preparation and review repair specifications and yard tender analysis.
Liaise with the purchasing department for cost-effective and timely supplies.
Provide support to the Vessel Managers at dry dock.
Provide support in compiling the Dry Dock Repair report.
Track capital modifications/upgrades and projects.
Appoint agencies and follow up on cost and invoices.
Arrange and coordinate various husbandry matters with local agent.
Manage the distribution and track vessel certificates.
Review classification reports and distribute Monthly reports to the Vessel Managers and the vessels.
Process and track technical and service reports.
Manage and archive records.
Manage vessel drawing and instruction manuals.
Maintain and distribute manufacturers service bulletins to ship team and vessels.
Review and monitor planned maintenance work orders and maintenance history data within the PM system.
Track equipment under shore service/repair.
Support the purchasing department in the absence of Purchasing lead.
Support the purchasing department in the absence of Purchasing lead as designated by the superiors when required.
