Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Assistant Manager to oversee and enhance mission-critical systems for the Defence sector.

You will manage system operations, ensure governance and compliance, and drive digital transformation initiatives to strengthen system performance and cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end systems management and on-site support to the Authority
• Ensure systems meet defined KPIs/SLA and comply with policies, standards, and audits
• Manage system upgrades, patches, obsolescence, and tech refresh activities
• Conduct security reviews, vulnerability management, and improve cyber resiliency
• Maintain asset inventory and support logistics management
• Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and partners to ensure service quality and compliance
• Drive operational efficiency, governance, and customer satisfaction initiatives

Requirements

• Degree in IT or related field with at least 5 years’ experience in IT infrastructure management
• Strong knowledge in system/network troubleshooting and transmission network infrastructure
• Experience with Windows Server, Linux (virtual environments), and monitoring tools (e.g. SolarWinds, Nessus)
• Solid understanding of incident management, escalation, and service delivery
• Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills
