Job summary

Smith & Nephew in Singapore is seeking an Order Management Coordinator to act as the interface between Smith & Nephew and its hospitals, healthcare customers and Sales. You will manage surgical case bookings and related customer-service activities, coordinating requirements, product availability, orders, billing and logistics information to support case fulfilment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering, supply chain, logistics, business or a related field.
• Demonstrated logistics, asset-management or inventory-planning experience, with SAP exposure.
• Experience in medical devices or related supply-chain environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimise the case-bookings process, providing timely telephone and email support to internal and external customers.
• Determine and fulfil customer requirements while managing service expectations throughout the booking lifecycle.
• Process surgical case bookings, customer orders, billing transactions and quotations accurately and within required timeframes.
• Provide clear information on products, availability, pricing, order status and service arrangements to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, operations, warehouse, logistics and freight carriers to support case fulfilment.
• Support field Sales personnel with relevant booking, product and delivery information, and prompt responses to requests.
• Develop preferred-supplier relationships by understanding requirements, resolving issues and adding value to the customer experience.
