Job summary

Singtel Group is seeking an experienced desktop support professional to install and operate facility management for client platforms. You will troubleshoot issues, manage incidents, and provide timely updates to stakeholders to maintain SLA performance.

The role involves imaging/re-imaging, asset inventories, and collaboration on platform upgrades. Strong communication and teamwork are essential, along with familiarity with Windows, Mac OS, Office 365, and mobile devices.

Qualifications

• Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma in an IT-related discipline.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Preferably 1 year of enterprise desktop support experience in Windows OS, Office 365, Cloning Tools, Mac OS and Antivirus/Malware software.
• Familiar with iOS and Android devices.
• A good team player with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and operate facility management support for client platforms to meet service levels.
• Troubleshoot client platform problems and respond to incidents with timely resolutions.
• Provide status updates to relevant parties and handle service requests.
• Monitor service levels and maintain system configuration with regular reporting.
• Participate in client platform implementation or upgrade projects.
• Perform desktop support and end-user help desk activities including imaging/re-imaging and asset inventories.
• Escalate technical issues to 3rd party vendors as needed and create/update work instructions.

Skills forSuccess:

• Responsible for the installation and daily operations support for facility management of client platforms to meet agreed business needs & service levels.
• Perform troubleshooting for client platform related problems.
• Respond promptly to incident, investigate & provide temporary or permanent resolution of incidents escalated.
• Provide timely status updates to relevant parties.
• Perform service request related to client platforms.
• Monitor the agreed service level, document & maintain configuration of the systems; provide regular reporting to relevant parties.
• Involve in client platform implementation/upgrade project.
• Perform Desktop Support services to users.
• This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting and actively resolving end user help requests and escalating incidents when necessary to maintain customer satisfaction and SLA expectations.
• Perform imaging/re-imaging.
• Perform asset inventories.
• Perform technical escalation to 3rd party vendor or resolver groups (where appropriate).
• Creates and updates work instructions (where necessary).
• Document standards and procedures (where necessary).
