Travel: Occasional short business trips per project requirement.
Role Overview
Our Supply Chain Senior Engineer/ Executive role requires the successful candidate to support diligently both the Project Execution and Life Cycle Services teams on delivering turn key EPCC scope of works. This requires to ensure supply chain needs of Company are met in timely, cost optimised and compliant manner.
Pre-requisite
- Education: Degree in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant qualification.
- Experience: More than 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role with comparable responsibilities.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Knowledge and hands‑on experience with mechanical components such as valves, pipes and fittings, electrical equipment, cables, instrumentation, and process control systems.
- Familiarity with contract terms and conditions.
- Good understanding of financial terms and commercial conditions.
- Knowledge of logistics and transportation processes.
- Interpersonal Skills:
- Possess excellent communication and collaboration capabilities with internal and external multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Good command of written and spoken English to communicate well with domestic and overseas Manufacturers/ Suppliers/ Subcontractors/ Service Providers ("Vendor").
- Chinese language skills is an added advantage for smooth communication with Hong Kong and Mainland China vendors and clients.

Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end supply chain activities, ensuring smooth coordination from sourcing to delivery while adhering to environmental sustainability practices.
- Prepare and issue Request for Quotation (RFQ) to qualified vendors based on project specifications.
- Follow up with vendors to ensure quotations/proposals are submitted within the specified timeline.
- Ensure vendor quotations/proposals meet both commercial and technical requirements, aligned with project needs.
- Evaluate, analyse, and review vendors' quotations/proposals to ensure cost optimisation while maintaining quality standards and environmental impact considerations.
- Coordinate with the company’s engineering team to resolve any open technical issues or concerns.
- Work with the project in-charge to ensure that project schedules are met and vendor timelines are aligned with project requirements.
- Participate in the negotiation and finalisation of contract terms and conditions to secure favourable agreements.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO) and Contracts to vendors after awarding contracts.
- Follow up with vendors to confirm acknowledgment of Purchase Orders/Contracts.
- Qualify new vendors and maintain relationships with existing approved vendors to ensure consistent quality, reliability and cost competitiveness.
- Verify and process vendor invoices, handling any disputes and ensuring proper resolution in a timely manner.
- Coordinate non-conformance claims, ensuring defective products/services are returned or replaced in accordance with vendor agreements.
- Regularly update the status of Purchase Orders/Contracts, Material Requisition status, and the Approved Vendor List.
- Track and coordinate all expediting activities from the release of purchase orders to the final payment of vendor invoices, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Monitor vendors’ delivery schedules and track project expediting levels, closely following up on order status and production progress.
- Coordinate with vendors, forwarders, and the internal stakeholders to ensure the smooth flow of equipment/ materials/ services and deliverables, securing site storage space, and ensuring timely provision of logistics information.
