Job summary

Gulf Asia-Pacific Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Supply Chain Executive to ensure smooth execution of customer orders through coordination of inventory, material availability, procurement status, and production requirements.

You will support demand planning activities and provide coverage for forecasting and supply planning functions when required, liaising with Sales, Planning, Procurement, Operations and Logistics to maintain service levels and inventory health.

• Prepare supply chain reports and monitor KPIs.

Job description

The Supply Chain Executive is responsible for ensuring smooth execution of customer orders through effective coordination of inventory, material availability, procurement status, and production requirements. The role acts as a key link between Sales, Planning, Procurement, Operations and Logistics to ensure timely order fulfilment and high customer service levels.

The position will also support demand planning activities and provide coverage for forecasting and supply planning functions when required.

Order Fulfilment & Supply Coordination

• Review incoming customer orders and verify inventory availability.
• Validate raw material availability against customer demand and production requirements.
• Monitor open orders and identify potential supply risks or shortages.
• Coordinate with Procurement and Operations to resolve material constraints.
• Ensure timely fulfilment of customer orders while maintaining inventory optimisation objectives.
• Track order status and communicate potential delays or supply concerns to relevant stakeholders.

Inventory Management

• Monitor inventory positions across finished goods, packaging materials and raw materials.
• Identify potential stock-outs, excess inventory and slow-moving inventory.
• Support inventory balancing and stock optimisation initiatives.
• Assist in inventory reconciliation and stock accuracy reviews.
• Generate inventory reports and provide recommendations for inventory actions.

Production & Supply Planning Support

• Monitor production schedules against customer demand requirements.
• Escalate supply constraints and propose mitigation actions.
• Support supply-demand reviews and shortage management activities.
• Assist with allocation decisions during periods of constrained supply.
• Participate in monthly supply review meetings.

Supply Chain Analytics & Reporting

• Prepare supply chain performance reports.
• Monitor inventory health and customer service KPIs.
• Analyse supply constraints and recurring fulfilment issues.
• Maintain order tracking, backlog management and supply risk reports.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis.

Demand Planning Support & Cross Training

• Maintain forecasting databases and planning files.
• Assist with forecast consolidation and reporting.
• Support forecast accuracy calculations and analysis.
• Provide backup coverage for demand planning activities during leave periods.
• Participate in S&OP and demand review processes.

Cross Functional Coordination

• Work closely with Sales, Customer Service, Procurement, Warehouse and Operations teams.
• Liaise with suppliers on material status when required.
• Support distributors and internal stakeholders regarding order fulfilment enquiries.
• Ensure accurate and timely communication of supply-related issues.
