Job summary

Sysmex Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced supply planning professional to develop and execute supply plans, optimize inventory levels, and support service performance for the assigned product portfolio.

You will collaborate with Suppliers, Production, Order Processing and Commercial teams to balance customer requirements with capacity and financial targets, participate in S&OP, and drive continuous improvement across planning processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • 3–5 years in supply chain planning or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain short-, medium-, and long-term supply plans to meet forecasted demand.
  • Analyze forecasts, inventory, capacity, and supplier lead times to determine replenishment needs.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels while supporting service levels and working capital targets.
  • Monitor inventory health: excess, slow-moving, obsolete, and at-risk stock.
  • Conduct regular reviews and mitigate shortages and excess inventory.
  • Create and manage replenishment and deployment plans aligned with demand.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and production to align with schedules and capacity.
  • Balance supply and demand by managing capacity constraints and material availability.
  • Execute core supply planning activities.
  • Work with suppliers to ensure material availability and delivery schedules.
  • Identify supply risks and develop contingency plans.
  • Coordinate responses to disruptions and shortages.
  • Participate in monthly S&OP and supply review meetings.
  • Provide insights on constraints, inventory projections, and capacity needs.
  • Support scenario planning and risk assessments for decisions.
  • Track KPIs and report to management; analyze root causes.
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning processes and systems.
  • Provide backup support during peak workloads and cross-team activities.

Key Job Purpose :

Responsible for developing and executing supply plans that ensure product availability while optimizing inventory levels and service performance, for assigned product portfolio. The role works closely with Suppliers, Production, Order Processing, and Commercial teams to balance customer requirements with operational constraints and business objectives.

Job Description :
Supply Planning & Inventory Management
  • Develop and maintain short-, medium-, and long-term supply plans to meet forecasted customer demand.
  • Analyze demand forecasts, inventory positions, capacity constraints, and supplier lead times to determine replenishment requirements.
  • Ensure optimal inventory levels while supporting service level and working capital targets.
  • Monitor inventory health, including excess, slow-moving, obsolete, and at-risk inventory.
  • Conduct regular inventory reviews and implement actions to mitigate stock shortages and excess inventory.
Replenishment Planning
  • Create and manage replenishment and deployment plans aligned with demand requirements.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and local production team to ensure requirements are aligned with production schedules and capacity.
  • Balance supply and demand by managing capacity constraints, material availability, and operational priorities.
  • Execute supply planning activities.
Supplier & Material Management
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure material availability.
  • Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and delivery schedules.
  • Identify supply risks and develop contingency or mitigation plans.
  • Coordinate responses to supply disruptions and material shortages.
Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
  • Participate in monthly S&OP and supply review meetings.
  • Provide insights on supply constraints, inventory projections, and capacity requirements.
  • Support scenario planning and risk assessments to facilitate decision-making.
  • Align supply plans with business growth targets and operational capabilities.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
  • Track and report KPIs
  • Analyze root causes of supply performance issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare regular reports and dashboards for management review.
Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve planning processes, system utilization, and supply chain efficiency.
  • Support digital transformation and planning system enhancement initiatives.
  • Participate in inventory optimization and cost reduction projects.
  • Develop and maintain planning policies, procedures, and best practices.

Provide backup support to other planners within the team as required, including assisting with planning activities, order follow-ups, supply coordination, and reporting during periods of workload peaks or absence.

Partner with order management team to expedite materials with shortages and to ensure timely delivery of allocated materials

Comply and meet all quality and compliance standards/requirements, both internal and external.

Any other duties as assigned by superior.

Job Requirements :
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain Planning, Demand or Supply Planning, Order Management, Customer Fulfilment, Procurement, or related supply chain functions.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and how cross-functional operations work together to deliver excellent customer outcomes.
  • Solid knowledge of supply chain planning concepts, inventory management, statistical forecasting, and related planning processes.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding operational KPIs, service levels, and performance targets.
  • Strong business acumen with a sound understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations.
  • Proficient in supply planning and inventory management principles.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with ERP systems, Material Master data management, and supply chain planning systems.
  • Strong data analysis, reporting, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships across functions and organisational levels.
  • Confident in influencing, facilitating discussions, and driving alignment among cross-functional teams.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a strong commitment to service excellence.
