Job summary

Sysmex Asia Pacific Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Supply Planner to develop and execute supply plans that ensure product availability while optimizing inventory levels and service performance.

You will analyze forecasts, lead times, and constraints; collaborate with suppliers, production, order management, and commercial teams to balance customer needs with operations; participate in S&OP and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Operations Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Procurement, Order Management, or related supply chain functions.
• Good understanding of inventory management and end-to-end supply chain processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and planning tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Responsible for developing and executing supply plans that ensure product availability while optimizing inventory levels and service performance for assigned product portfolios. The role works closely with Suppliers, Production, Order Management, and Commercial teams to balance customer requirements with operational constraints and business objectives.

Job Description :

Supply Planning & Inventory Management

• Develop and execute supply plans to support customer demand while optimizing inventory levels and service performance.
• Analyze demand forecasts, inventory positions, supplier lead times, and operational constraints to determine replenishment requirements.
• Monitor inventory health and implement actions to mitigate stock shortages, excess, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory.
• Conduct regular inventory reviews to support service level and working capital targets.

Replenishment, Supplier & Material Management

• Create and manage replenishment plans to ensure timely product and material availability.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to align supply requirements with production schedules and business priorities.
• Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and delivery commitments.
• Identify supply risks and coordinate mitigation plans to minimize disruptions and material shortages.

Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)

• Participate in S&OP and supply review meetings, providing insights on inventory, supply constraints, and capacity requirements.
• Support scenario planning and risk assessments to facilitate business decision-making.
• Align supply plans with business objectives and operational capabilities.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

• Track and analyze key supply chain KPIs to ensure operational performance targets are achieved.
• Investigate supply issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare planning reports and dashboards to support management review and decision-making.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify and implement opportunities to improve planning processes, inventory management, and supply chain efficiency.
• Support planning system enhancements, digitalization initiatives, and inventory optimization projects.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of planning procedures and best practices.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Order Management, Production, Procurement, Commercial, and Customer Service teams to ensure effective supply execution and customer fulfilment.
• Expedite materials and coordinate supply activities to support customer delivery requirements.
• Provide backup support within the planning team as required.

Compliance & Other Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all applicable quality, regulatory, and company requirements.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior.
