Job summary

Jal Yoga is seeking a Studio Manager for our Katong or Kovan location in Singapore. You will own the studio's performance, drive sales and lead conversion, and ensure exceptional member experiences.

Job description

Jal Yoga is a Singapore Yoga and wellness studio brand with locations in Alexandra, Katong, Kovan, Upper Bukit Timah, and Woodlands, offering Yoga, Reformer Pilates, and a growing range of wellness programme. We're looking for someone to take full ownership of our Katong or Kovan studio.

About the Role

The Studio Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the studio. Sales and lead conversion remain a core, non-negotiable part of the role, and the successful candidate will be expected to consistently meet and exceed targets. Alongside this, the role carries equal responsibility for the member experience, the standard of the studio's environment and upkeep, and its reputation within the community and online. The Studio Manager is the primary point of accountability for the studio's outcomes, both commercial and experiential.

What You'll Own

• Sales & conversion — turning leads into trials and trials into members
• Member experience — building real relationships with members, being the person they know and go to for help
• Studio environment — keeping Katong looking, feeling, and running the way a member deserves
• Online reputation — personally responding to and resolving Google reviews and member feedback, not leaving them unanswered
• Day-to-day presence — on-site during studio operating hours, especially when classes are running, working closely with instructors and studio staff
• Escalation — raising issues early so small problems don't become big ones

What We're Looking For

• Experience in a customer-facing sales, service, hospitality, or fitness/gym management role
• Someone who genuinely wants to build a community, not just close deals and move on
• Comfortable being the visible, accountable owner of a studio — including the parts that go wrong, not just the wins
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Reliable, hands-on, and consistently present on-site
• Familiarity with the Katong area/community is a plus, not a requirement

Base salary between SGD2,000-SGD2,500 plus a performance incentive structured around both sales and member experience/retention outcomes, not sales alone — final package to be confirmed.

• Full-time, based at our Katong or Kovan studio
• Standard studio operating hours 2-9pm, including weekends/peak class times as needed
