V-SWIFT PTE. LTD. is seeking a dedicated Student Engagement and Support Personnel to foster positive student relationships, provide guidance, and assist with conduct and safety within a school setting.

The role involves supervising students, coordinating with stakeholders, and maintaining thorough records of incidents, interventions, and follow-up actions consistent with school requirements.

Qualifications

• Possess a recognised Diploma and/or Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline.
• Experience in educational, youth-related, community, social-service or other people-facing environments would be advantageous.
• Demonstrate the ability to engage effectively with children or youths and establish constructive relationships while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries.
• Possess strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Be observant and responsive, with the ability to recognise situations that may require attention, intervention or escalation.
• Be able to manage challenging, sensitive or emotionally charged situations calmly, professionally and appropriately.
• Exercise sound judgement, objectivity and discretion when handling student-related matters and confidential information.
• Be able to document and communicate observations clearly and provide appropriate input to support the school’s follow-up actions.
• Work effectively and collaboratively with students, parents or guardians, school personnel and other relevant stakeholders.
• Demonstrate maturity, patience, resilience, adaptability and an appropriate balance of approachability and authority.
• Be suitable for deployment within a school environment and able to undertake the responsibilities associated with student engagement, conduct and well-being.
• Any additional qualifications, certifications or relevant experience proposed by the bidder may be considered favourably.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with students and provide timely guidance and follow-up.
• Assist in managing student conduct and behavioural incidents, including de-escalation, conflict resolution and restorative follow-up.
• Supervise students, monitor interactions and report concerns to designated school personnel.
• Collaborate with school personnel and stakeholders in managing and following up on student cases, including liaising with parents or guardians as directed by the school.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of student incidents, observations, interventions and follow-up actions in accordance with school requirements.
• Stay abreast of relevant youth, behavioural and online trends, and highlight potential implications for student conduct, safety and well-being.
• Undertake other student management and related duties as assigned by the school to meet operational needs.
