Job summary

Qualifications

• Calm and professional when addressing disciplinary matters.
• Engage and support students under 16 and their families.
• Demonstrate confidentiality and integrity in case handling.
• Use restorative approaches to resolve conflicts and support rehabilitation.
• Document investigations and communicate with stakeholders appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Assist in fact-finding and investigations of student misconduct.
• Engage students involved in disciplinary cases with pastoral support.
• Supervise students during in-school suspension and detention.
• Support safety plans and monitor student well-being.
• Collaborate with counsellors and SENOs to provide follow-up support.
• Communicate with parents/guardians regarding disciplinary actions.
• Attend meetings with school management and external agencies when needed.
• Provide administrative and technical support during shifts.
