Job summary

Qualifications

• The Personnel shall minimally possess a Diploma in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work, Education or a related discipline
• Experience in primary school student well-being or pastoral care is preferred
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line emotional and behavioural support to students
• Identify and monitor at-risk students and maintain regular check-ins
• De-escalate crises and ensure student safety and wellbeing
• Plan and support social-emotional learning and peer support initiatives
• Engage with parents/guardians and coordinate with external agencies as needed
