Job summary

V-SWIFT PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a dedicated staff member to support the Student Management Team and teachers in student discipline and welfare. You will supervise detention, document cases, and assist with investigations while coordinating with parents.

Responsibilities include safety walkabouts, controlling access to campus, managing crowd flow, and supporting school operations and events. Strong interpersonal skills and a background in handling youth are essential.

Qualifications

• Preferably 5 years of experience in managing children or youth from diverse backgrounds.
• Prior experience supervising teens in discipline, case management or behaviour support is valued.
• Former personnel from national uniform services is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage students, parents and staff and de-escalate conflicts.
• Familiar with restorative practices and student support frameworks.
• Able to work independently, exercise sound judgement and handle high-pressure situations.
• Proficient in report writing and documentation with accurate records.
• MS Office experience is required, and a First Aid certificate is preferred or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Support the Student Management Team and teachers in handling student discipline during recess and activities.
• Supervise detention and corrective work and maintain discipline case records.
• Assist in implementing the school's discipline framework and policies.
• Assist with fact-finding and investigations related to student management matters.
• Coordinate with parents on discipline matters and provide investigation updates.
• Conduct regular walkabouts and monitor entry/exit points for safety.
• Manage crowd flow during arrivals, dismissals and high-traffic events to ensure order.
• Respond to emergencies and escalate to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain student management records and attendance data; prepare discipline trend reports.
• Coordinate with external agencies when necessary; support school operations and events.
