Job summary

IET PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a dedicated role to support students facing behavioural and attendance challenges.

The position involves supervising students during in-school suspension, assisting with investigations, and providing mentoring and emotional support to encourage positive outcomes. You will collaborate with teachers, parents and school personnel to monitor progress, maintain discipline records and support Social-Emotional Learning programmes.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with MOE by the tender closing date.
• Must have a background in uniformed services or relevant social services, such as the Police, Prison Service or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working directly with at-risk youths in educational, community or correctional settings.
• Experience working in a primary school environment is an advantage.
• Good communication, student management, investigation and interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude towards working with children.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide students during in-school suspension, reflection sessions and behavioural intervention programmes.
• Assist with preliminary investigations, student interviews, incident reports and discipline-related matters.
• Provide mentoring, emotional support and guidance to students facing behavioural and attendance challenges.
• Work with teachers, parents and school personnel to monitor student progress and support positive behaviour.
• Maintain student discipline records, conduct student engagement activities and support Social-Emotional Learning programmes.
