Job summary

IET Pte. Ltd. is seeking a dedicated mentor to support high-needs students in Singapore.

You will provide guidance and mentoring, supervise after-school activities and help run homework programmes within a school partnership framework. Collaborating with teachers, counsellors and staff, you will monitor student development, attendance and programme participation, while facilitating conflict resolution and peer mediation to promote positive behaviour.

Qualifications

• Must be MOE registered by the tender closing date.
• At least 2 years of direct experience with at-risk children or youths.
• At least 2 years of experience in a primary school supporting student development.
• Degree qualification, mediation accreditation or relevant child development certification preferred.
• Good interpersonal, communication, mentoring and conflict-resolution skills; able to work closely with school staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide mentoring, guidance and student support to high-needs students, including those with behavioural, emotional or learning challenges.
• Supervise after-school student activities and support group mentoring and homework programmes.
• Work with teachers, counsellors and school staff to monitor student development, attendance and programme participation.
• Facilitate conflict resolution activities, student reflection and peer mediation to encourage positive behaviour.
• Maintain student progress records, prepare reports and support delivery of student development programmes and staff workshops.
