Job summary

Bayes Recruitment Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to coordinate structural drawings, liaise with consultants and subcontractors, and manage statutory approvals for design-and-build condominium projects.

You will support site teams, maintain project documentation, and lead BIM coordination to ensure clash-free models. The role requires a Bachelor’s or Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering, at least 3 years’ experience in design & build condo projects for A1 main contractors,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience as Structural Design Engineer, Project Engineer or Structural Coordinator on Design & Build condominium projects for A1 main contractors.
• Experience with C&S consultant firms and design background preferred.
• Ability to perform structural analysis using software such as ACAD, Revit, STAAD Pro, or similar.
• Familiar with URA/BCA/NEA/PUB/SCDF/LTA/Nparks requirements.
• Ability to build good relationships with consultants and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

About the role

This role involves coordination of structural drawings, liaison with consultants and subcontractors, and management of statutory approvals for construction projects. You will provide technical support to site teams, maintain project documentation, coordinate Building Information Modelling activities, and compile as-built BIM models upon project completion.

Key responsibilities

• Review structural design drawings and documents for constructability, compliance with project specifications and potential clashes with other disciplines
• Schedule and issue FW/CBP drawings and subcontractor structural shop drawings aligned with project schedule and construction activities
• Work closely with structural consultants, architectural and M&E engineers, and various subcontractors to resolve structural and technical issues
• Assist in preparation and submission of structural drawings and documents to relevant authorities for approvals such as Corenet X Gateways, Building Plan, Structural Plan, Works Permit, Temporary Occupation Permit and Certificate of Statutory Completion
• Track status of submissions and liaise with authorities to expedite the approval process
• Provide technical support to site team on structural-related matters and resolve site queries
• Maintain documentation of design changes, site instructions and correspondences
• Attend technical meetings and design coordination meetings to report outcomes and ensure effective communication
• Coordinate structural and consultant drawings using Revit, Naviswork or Enscape to identify clashes and ensure consistency
• Compile and hand over structural as-built BIM Model and drawings upon project completion

About you

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field
