Job summary

MEINHARDT GEOTECHNICAL PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced structural engineer to support senior team directors in delivering complex high-rise building projects.

You will supervise staff, review designs for quality, and contribute to sketching and calculations across RC, steel and post-tensioned concrete structures. The role requires 8–10 years in consulting, strong knowledge of design software, and proven experience with HDB developments and non-linear dynamic analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering; Masters preferred.
• 8–10 years of design experience in a consulting environment.
• Experience in high-rise residential, commercial or mixed development projects.
• Must have experience in HDB.
• Fully familiar with latest design software.
• Experience in Non-Linear Dynamic Analysis.

Job description

Assist the Team Directors in the performance of their duties

• Supervise and coordinate with subordinate staff
• Ensure quality and accuracy of designs
• Offer suggestions to improve the designs
• Produce sketch drawings
• Carry out design calculations
• Check design calculations
• Ensure compliance with Project Design Criteria/ClientBrief/ Approved Concept
• Ensure compliance with relevant design standards and office standards
• Check documentation complies with design
• Attend and participate in design meetings
• Ensure compliance with ISO Quality Procedure Manual

REQUIREMENTS

• Recognized Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Structural Engineering, as a minimum. Masters preferred.
• 8-10 years of design experience in a consulting Environment.
• Must have design experience in high rise residential, commercial or mixed development projects.
• Must have experience in HDB.
• Fully familiar and hands-on knowledge of the latest design software.
• Experience on Non-Linear Dynamic Analysis.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
