Job summary

MEINHARDT (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to assist Team Directors, supervise staff, and ensure the quality and accuracy of complex designs. The role requires hands-on sketching, calculations, and adherence to project criteria.

You will work on high-rise residential, commercial or mixed-use schemes with familiarity in HDB projects and latest design software. Participation in design meetings and ISO procedures will be expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Structural Engineering.
• 8–10 years of design experience in a consulting environment.
• Experience in high-rise residential, commercial or mixed-use projects.
• Experience with HDB is essential.
• Proficient with latest design software.
• Experience with Non-Linear Dynamic Analysis.

Job description

Assist the Team Directors in the performance of their duties

• Offer suggestions to improve the designs
• Produce sketch drawings
• Carry out design calculations
• Check design calculations
• Ensure compliance with Project Design Criteria/Client Brief/ Approved Concept
• Ensure compliance with relevant design standards and office standards

REQUIREMENTS

• Recognised Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Structural Engineering, as a minimum. Masters preferred.
• 8-10 years of design experience in a consulting Environment.
• Must have design experience in high rise residential, commercial or mixed development projects.
• Must have experience in HDB.
• Fully familiar and hands‑on knowledge of the latest design software.
• Experience on Non‑Linear Dynamic Analysis.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
