This role involves coordinating tender activities, developing competitive pricing strategies, assessing contractual and financial risks, and supporting management decisions to achieve sustainable project profitability.

Qualificações

• Oversee tender development and commercial evaluation for civil engineering projects.
• Coordinate tender activities across technical, procurement and operations teams.
• Develop competitive pricing strategies and assess contractual/financial risks.

Responsabilidades

• Direct tendering activities and allocate responsibilities to ensure timely and complete submissions.
• Establish tender preparation plans, review submission requirements, and monitor progress.
• Analyse tender specifications, drawings, BOQ, and contractual terms for scope and risk.
• Coordinate with technical, engineering, QS, procurement, and operations teams to develop proposals.
• Evaluate project costs, establish pricing structures, and prepare budgets and submissions.
• Assess subcontractor and supplier quotations, validate cost breakdowns, and identify cost optimisations.
• Evaluate project feasibility, contractual risks, variations, and profitability factors.
• Engage with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to clarify requirements.
• Review tender pricing, assumptions, exclusions, and commercial conditions before submission.
• Prepare tender assessment reports and present pricing, risk exposure, and bid strategy recommendations.
• Maintain tender databases, historical cost records, and commercial documentation.
• Coordinate post-tender discussions, negotiations, and handover after contract awards.
