Job summary

Schroders UK is seeking a Client Manager to join its Institutional Sales team in Singapore. You will identify new institutional business opportunities across Southeast Asia and cross-sell to existing clients while coordinating with internal teams to deliver compelling proposals and materials.

You will develop regional development plans, build relationships with institutional clients and consultants, and ensure high-quality client servicing and onboarding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent subjects.
• CFA qualification will be an advantage.
• At least 8 years of experience in a front office role in asset management or related investment function.
• Strong market and technical knowledge across asset classes.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business development plans and strategy for Southeast Asia.
• Secure opportunities with prospective institutional clients including government bodies, insurers and family offices.
• Manage relationships with selected existing clients and pursue cross-selling opportunities.
• Prepare sales proposals and client meeting materials with internal teams (RFP, Fund/Product Managers).
• Collaborate with Marketing to run events and strengthen company profile.
• Attend industry events to maintain Schroders’ presence.
• Maintain contact with major consultants and guide client servicing teams to ensure high standards.
