Job summary

sggovterp seeks a policy and strategic planning professional to advance the Careers and Employment Services (CES) sector. You will analyze trends, engage stakeholders and translate insights into actionable initiatives to strengthen the CES ecosystem.

You will support sector planning, conduct environmental scanning and policy research, develop frameworks and briefing materials for management. You will work with internal and external partners to drive impactful programs and improvements.

Qualifications

• Policy framing and strategic thinking to support management decisions.
• Engagement with agencies, employers, training providers and other stakeholders.
• Ability to gather, interpret and synthesize data and research for policy insights.
• Capable of translating complex information into clear recommendations and briefs.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of sector strategies and plans for the CES ecosystem.
• Conduct environmental scanning, policy research and sector analysis on trends affecting career guidance and employment services.
• Analyse research findings and stakeholder inputs to identify issues and strategic implications.
• Develop planning frameworks, indicators and monitoring mechanisms to track outcomes and impact of sector strategies.
• Review policies and programmes and recommend improvements and implementation steps.
• Prepare briefing materials, presentations and papers for management consideration.
• Provide secretariat support for meetings and governance processes.
