Job summary

SkillsFuture Singapore Agency is seeking a strategic policy professional to lead the planning and development of CET policies and programmes. The role involves formulating and managing operational policies, engaging with multiple government ministries and training partners, and driving data-informed decision making.

You will work across divisions to ensure successful programme implementation and impact, with a focus on delivering tangible outcomes for Singapore's workforce.

Qualifications

• At least 3–5 years’ experience in operational policy planning and review work.
• Good analytical and systematic problem-solving skills, with strategic foresight.
• Ability to translate broad problem statements into specific policies.
• Ability to synthesize diverse and conflicting information to develop solutions.
• Adaptable and comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication of complex ideas.
• Capable of using data for analysis and reporting to inform decisions.

Responsibilities

• Formulate, plan, and review strategies, operational policies, and programmes with stakeholders.
• Conceptualise and execute strategies for policy implementation, addressing challenges.
• Communicate strategies through submissions or papers to Senior Management.
• Coordinate discussions with internal divisions and external partners to ensure collaboration.
• Track progress and outcomes of policies, including data gathering, reporting, and budgeting.
