Job summary

Raffles Girls' School in Singapore is seeking a strategic Procurement Executive to join our Procurement team. You will manage the procurement of goods and services for the school, ensure policy compliance, maintain records, and support internal departments with their purchasing needs.

Reporting to the Senior Manager (Operations and Procurement), you will administer GeBIZ requests, assist in budget planning, evaluate supplier proposals, track contracts, and help drive cost-effectiveness across

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in any field, preferably in purchasing operations, supply chain management or project management.
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in procurement/supply chain industry.
• Proficiency with Microsoft and other school-supported applications.
• Good knowledge of Infocom Technology and awareness of cybersecurity measures.
• Good organizing abilities, interpersonal and communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in budget planning by collating past purchasing information for future resources.
• Monitor the utilization of operational and capital expenditure budgets for cost-effectiveness.
• Demonstrate awareness of governance and internal controls and align tasks accordingly.
• Maintain proper procurement records and documentation for transparency and audit.
• Assist budget holders to ensure timely procurement of goods and services.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Administer GeBIZ-related requests across procurement life cycle.
• Support procurement operations system administration.
• Support evaluation processes by developing descriptor matrices and shortlisting.
• Record scoring of evaluation criteria to aid decision-making.
• Support raising purchase requisition and invoices for verification.
• Understand contract terms and scope of deliverables; collate info for provisions.
• Track contract renewals and maintain the contract register.
• Support supplier evaluations and escalate issues where necessary.
• Preparation of bite-sized quarterly newsletter.
