Job summary

XCL World Academy (Singapore) is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead the sourcing and procurement function for the school. The role focuses on delivering best value through strategic sourcing, supplier partnerships and rigorous governance to support daily operations and long‑term planning.

You will manage budgets, coordinate with Finance, and drive process improvements, ensuring compliance and alignment with school goals. A collaborative leader with strong stakeholder management is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering end-to-end procurement management.
• Strong track record in strategic sourcing and vendor management.
• Proven negotiation skills including pricing, discounts, and payment terms.
• Experience coordinating and managing tender processes.
• Solid knowledge of procurement controls and governance.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement process including requisitions, POs, goods receipt and follow-up.
• Ensure purchases align with budgets and procurement procedures.
• Source suitable vendors and obtain competitive quotations for best value.
• Negotiate pricing, discounts, terms and payment conditions.
• Oversee vendor onboarding and ongoing relationships.
• Monitor vendor performance, quality, pricing and delivery.
• Coordinate tender and quotation exercises per requirements.
• Plan and coordinate annual purchasing activities within timelines.
• Collaborate with Finance to support procurement transactions and records.
• Lead the Procurement team on day-to-day activities.
