Job summary

Harold Consultancy in Singapore is seeking a strategic Sales Manager to lead business development from our new Singapore office. You will hunt for new business and help build the sales function from the ground up, collaborating with regional leadership to expand across Southeast Asia.

Ideal candidate has a Diploma or Degree in Logistics or Business, at least 3 years in sales within freight/logistics, and strong knowledge of international shipping, customs, and trade docs.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in logistics, business, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in freight forwarding or logistics.
• Knowledge of international shipping processes, customs clearance, and trade documentation.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Own vehicle and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a sales strategy with the Head of Sales to drive growth and hit targets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the region.
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to uncover opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Work with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless, high-quality service delivery.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular reports, forecasts, and performance updates to management.
