Job summary

CSS in Singapore is seeking an Analyst - Purchasing and Inventory to liaison with vendors and implement inventory control protocols to optimize service levels across the supply chain.

You will monitor inventory, maintain letters of intent, and expedite orders while collaborating with sales and customer service to minimize line stoppages and ensure timely deliveries.

The role requires an Associate or Bachelor's in Supply Chain, 2–3 years experience, and strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or Business Field required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Business Field preferred.
• 2 years of relevant experience required; 3 years preferred.
• 3 years of expediting experience required; 5 years preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and coordinate with several departments.
• Strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels and recommend stock adjustments.
• Maintain customer inventory letters of intent.
• Maintain and develop relationships with suppliers/sales team.
• Expedite order delivery and ensure on-time delivery.
• Resolve receiving problems and invoicing issues.
• Place orders with suppliers as necessary.
• Collaborate with customer service regarding lead times and pricing.
• Communicate rescheduling to eliminate line stoppages.
• Maintain vendor contact base.
• Analyze and recommend inventory rebalancing and supplier returns.
• Coordinate intercompany and supplier returns.
• Perform analysis and present recommendations on inventory-related reports.
