Job summary

MCI Career Services in Singapore is seeking a meticulous logistics coordinator to create purchase orders, track orders for timely delivery, and coordinate across internal teams to ensure quantity and quality of received goods.

The ideal candidate holds a certificate in Logistics or SCM, has at least 1 year in a manufacturing environment, and works well independently as part of a team, with strong record-keeping and supplier comms.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Logistics/Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
• Min 1 year in manufacturing environment.
• A team player with positive attitude.
• Meticulous and fast learner.
• Able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Create a Purchase Order
• Keep track of orders to ensure timely delivery
• Coordinate with internal divisions to ensure the quantity and quality of received items
• Verify vendor’s invoice with purchase order and delivery order
• Discuss product quality concerns and any other inconsistencies with suppliers.
• Monitor warehouse stock inventory level to ensure sufficient stock available
• Maintain updated records of suppliers, goods, costs, and lead times.
• Communicate with suppliers on documentation like (MSDS, product spec, etc.)
• Conduct a weekly inventory check
• Participate in the Annual Stock take
• Any ad hoc duties assigned by the Superior
