Job summary

The role requires you to lead sales efforts, collaborate with operations, deliver proposals, manage CRM records, and report performance at monthly meetings while maintaining a high standard of client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business in Logistics or SCM.
• 3–7 years of experience in business development or sales within logistics or freight.
• Strong understanding of logistics services (air/sea freight, trucking, warehousing, customs clearance).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Self-motivated with a strong results-oriented mindset.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in warehousing, transportation, and ancillary services within the supply chain sector.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customers' needs.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and service agreements with clients and review them periodically.
• Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals set by the management.
• Attend industry events, networking sessions, and trade shows to generate leads.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM systems.
• Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to management during monthly meetings.
