National Library Board (NLB) is seeking a procurement and operations professional to manage daily acquisition operations and regulatory services for library materials. You will oversee contracts, engage vendors, and coordinate across departments to ensure timely procurement and compliant processes.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant experience in acquisitions, procurement or operations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong analytical/problem solving and documentation abilities.
• Strong and proactive team player with good networking skills.
• Meticulous and motivated, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; familiarity with government procurement processes is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations and functions for procurement of physical library materials according to policies and contract terms.
• Monitor and resolve operational and system issues to ensure timely action by staff or departments.
• Perform data analysis on performance indicators and trends for procurement and regulatory services.
• Manage contracts on sourcing and supply of library materials with vendors; develop strategic relationships.
• Organise quarterly meetings and annual engagement sessions with vendors; prepare meeting reports.
• Handle vendor and publisher enquiries and feedback; support daily regulatory services operations.
• Support regular internal and external audits for procurement; lead process improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects.
