Job summary

HR Focus in Singapore is seeking an experienced Sales & Business Development professional to lead key accounts and expand new business opportunities. The role involves strategic planning, pricing negotiations, and delivering tailored solutions to customers in a dynamic market.

You will drive annual forecasts, build strong client relationships, and collaborate with internal teams to convert opportunities into meaningful revenue growth. Travel to client sites is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, business development or sales and marketing.
• Diploma in Engineering, Sales & Marketing or a related discipline; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Proven experience in key account management, customer relationship building and business development.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused, analytical and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Drive Sales Performance: Develop annual sales forecasts, budgets and action plans to achieve sales targets.
• Manage Key Accounts: Build strong relationships with existing customers and grow their business through new projects and programmes.
• Develop New Business: Identify, approach and acquire new customers in targeted market segments.
• Lead Price Negotiations: Develop competitive proposals and negotiate pricing to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Identify Market Opportunities: Monitor market trends and customer needs to uncover new business potential.
• Drive Business Strategy: Develop customer-specific strategies and collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions.
