Job summary

DHL Supply Chain Singapore Pte Ltd seeks a Business Development Manager / Senior Manager to drive growth by identifying and closing new business opportunities within targeted verticals.

The role requires locating potential partners, negotiating deals, and developing win-win sales relationships, while supporting the BD Director with performance reviews, budgeting, and strategic directives to maximise profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Logistics preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the supply chain industry.
• Experience in Key Accounts Management.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to manage and develop relationships and negotiate at all levels of management in a customer organization.

Responsibilities

• Achieving business development in accordance with business goals so as to deliver maximum margin.
• Accountability for new and potential customer/business revenue with high impact to profitability.
• Make accurate decisions, recommendations and successful establishment of new businesses.
• Proactively identify and develop win-win sales relationship with new and potential customers.
• Provide customers specific advice/information to BD Director to facilitate business performance review, evaluation and budgeting.
• Provide support to devise, fine tune and implement overall sales and marketing strategy and directives.
• Develop assigned vertical market and achieve set goals.
