Job summary

GitLab is hiring a Field CTO to join our Strategic Field Organization at a Principal Solutions Architect level, based in Australia or Singapore. The role reports to the Global Head, Field CTOs and focuses on large, strategic engagements requiring proven planning and advisory skills.

As a trusted advisor, you will demonstrate how GitLab's platform and services meet complex business needs, shaping product strategy through market feedback and cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as CTO/ Principal Solutions Architect in enterprise software.
• Experience delivering information security and compliance solutions.
• Strong ability to articulate strategy to executives and staff engineers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate high‑level field strategies for large deals.
• Provide executive thought leadership on DevSecOps transformations.
• collaborate with product and regional teams on roadmaps and priorities.
• grow regional expertise and enablement across SAE/AE, SA, CSM roles.
• advocate for customers and drive platform strategy alignment.
