Job summary

GitLab is hiring a Field CTO at the Principal Solutions Architect level to support strategic prospects globally. The role reports to the Global Head, Field CTOs and partners with regional accounts for large, transformative engagements in DevSecOps.

The candidate will act as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers, guiding architecture, advisory services, and product strategy while collaborating with product teams to shape roadmaps and security/compliance offerings.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a CTO/Principal Solution Architect for enterprise software workflows.
• Experience delivering information/cyber security and compliance solutions.
• Strong knowledge of software development tools, practices, and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customer executives to enable large Net ARR deals and customer success.
• Provide executive-level thought leadership on strategic opportunities and growth.
• Collaborate with product teams on roadmap prioritization and field feedback.
• Scale regional expertise through enablement and content creation.
• Act as advocate forDevSecOps transformation initiatives with prospects and customers.
• Develop SME expertise in GitLab-relevant sectors through industry engagement.
• Stay current on emerging methodologies to influence product strategy.
