Job summary

HIN LEE CONTRACTOR TRADING PTE LTD is seeking a procurement professional to coordinate sourcing, evaluation, and liaison with suppliers for construction projects in Singapore. You will ensure timely delivery, maintain quality standards, and support budgetary control.

Your responsibilities include issuing PO’s, tracking deliveries, verifying specifications, managing inventories, and collaborating with project, site, and finance teams to optimize procurement outcomes.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or related discipline.
• Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement systems to manage workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement activities by sourcing, evaluating, and liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to secure materials and services aligned with project requirements
• Obtain and analyze quotations, prepare detailed comparison sheets, and support purchasing decisions to optimize cost and quality outcomes
• Issue purchase orders and proactively follow up on delivery schedules to ensure adherence to project timelines
• Verify that procured materials and services meet project specifications and quality standards through rigorous compliance checks
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely replenishment to prevent project delays and maintain operational continuity
• Track procurement costs and ensure all purchases remain within approved budgets to support financial control
• Maintain accurate and organized procurement documentation and records for audit and reporting purposes
• Collaborate effectively with project, site, and finance teams to resolve procurement-related issues and align procurement activities with project goals
• Assist in evaluating supplier performance and support contract administration to foster strong vendor relationships and continuous improvement
