Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a proactive procurement professional to develop and implement purchasing and sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives. You will source, evaluate and select suppliers based on price, quality, lead time and reliability to support production and delivery.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement purchasing and sourcing strategies to support business objectives.
Source, evaluate and select suitable suppliers based on pricing, quality, lead time and supply reliability.
Negotiate pricing, commercial terms and contracts to achieve competitive costs and sustainable cost savings.
Manage purchasing activities and material requirements to ensure timely delivery and optimal inventory levels.
Review customer requirements, product specifications and lead-time requirements with internal stakeholders.
Conduct supplier performance reviews and work with vendors to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Perform landed cost analysis and evaluate sourcing opportunities.
Support BOM and material planning for smooth production and project delivery.
Conduct procurement risk assessments and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
Lead annual cost-saving and supplier improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple procurement projects.o
