Job summary

WSG ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a procurement professional to manage tendering and supplier relations for construction projects. You will review documents, obtain quotations, prepare cost estimates, and support timely procurement across projects.

You will negotiate prices and terms, monitor deliveries, and maintain procurement records, working closely with QS and project teams to ensure budget compliance and successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in QS, construction management, procurement or related.
• 2–5 years in construction procurement or QS tendering.
• Experience with construction materials and subcontractor sourcing.
• Strong understanding of construction materials, specs and prices.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to read and understand construction drawings, specs and BQ.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Tendering and costing: review documents, prepare cost estimates, source quotations, evaluate competitiveness.
• Procurement: issue RFQs, negotiate terms, manage subcontractor documentation and delivery.
• Supplier & Subcontractor Management: build database, evaluate performance, maintain relationships.
• Coordination with QS/Project Team: work with QS, PMs, site engineers, provide pricing and market info.
• Commercial & Documentation: maintain records, track costs, resolve issues, prepare procurement reports.
