Job summary

Vallen Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Billing Officer responsible for accounts receivable with complex billing procedures. You will ensure accurate, timely invoicing and minimize bad debt by following procedures and collaborating with Sales.

You will reconcile statements, process invoices, monitor aging, and maintain audit-ready records. The role emphasizes accuracy, efficiency, and strong service to customers.

Qualifications

• Diploma in related discipline is a must.
• Experience in customer billing / invoicing / accounts receivable.
• Strong Excel skills and high attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines and stay organized.
• Collaborative with Sales and Customer Service teams.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile customer statements to ensure invoicing accuracy and attach proper supporting documents.
• Prepare, check and process customer invoices per contracts; resolve issues to ensure timely billing.
• Monitor aging of accounts receivable and calculate average days outstanding.
• Enter invoices into customer invoicing systems and issue periodic statements.
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service to clarify pricing, terms, and billing cycles.
• Process credit notes.
• Maintain invoicing files for audit and compliance.
• Follow and improve billing procedures for consistency and accuracy.
• Identify gaps in billing workflows and suggest improvements to enhance customer experience.
• Monitor unbilled revenue and highlight potential issues.
• Ensure world-class customer service in billing.
• Ensure compliance with billing policies.
