Job summary

OCBC Bank is seeking an experienced leader to shape the Group's AI governance and model risk framework. You will drive governance reviews, ensure risk-based controls across Gen AI and Agentic AI use, and collaborate with technology and business teams.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, and the ability to translate complex AI concepts into clear guidance. You will stay ahead of regulatory developments and maintain thorough documentation and audit trails.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of AI governance or model risk management experience.
• Experience with implementing AI, Gen AI or Agentic AI guardrails.
• Familiarity with AI data governance, risk management practices, or regulatory requirements.
• Strong knowledge of AI, machine learning, Gen AI, and Agentic AI concepts.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of data analytics, SQL or Python is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance reviews and assessments of AI use cases, including risk assessments and documentation reviews.
• Collaborate with model developers, technology teams and business users to implement governance requirements and guardrails.
• Coordinate with validators, auditors, compliance teams and regulators by tracking findings and supporting closure of actions.
• Monitor AI use cases, including Agentic AI solutions, to assess guardrails effectiveness and remediation needs.
• Track emerging AI regulations and best practices; contribute to governance standard enhancements.
• Drive the operationalisation of the Group's AI inventory with documentation and audit trails.
• Provide secretariat support to the AI Council and AI Governance Working Group; participate in related projects.
