About the role

We are seeking an experienced Store Supervisor to join our team at evantage HR. This is a contract position based in the Bukit Timah Central Region. As Store Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing day-to-day store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a dynamic team to achieve sales targets and operational excellence. This position is essential to maintaining our store's reputation and driving business success in a competitive retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflows and efficient service delivery to all customers

• Lead, motivate, and manage store staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management

• Monitor and achieve store sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)

• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the store is clean, organised, and inviting

• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, resolving issues promptly and effectively

• Manage inventory levels, stock rotation, and coordinate with suppliers as needed

• Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations

• Conduct staff training sessions and provide ongoing coaching and development support

• Report on store performance metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Store Supervisor or similar retail management role in the consumer products or retail sector

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members

• Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism

• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and drive business results

• Sound knowledge of retail operations, inventory management, and visual merchandising

• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and retail management software

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• A high school diploma or equivalent qualification; retail management certification is desirable

• Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays as required
