Job summary

hla garment (singapore) pte. ltd. is seeking a Store Supervisor to assist the Store Manager with daily operations, supervise the retail team, and drive sales in a fast-paced environment.

You will coach staff, monitor performance, ensure excellent customer service, accurate stock handling, and proper visual merchandising.

Applicants should have 1–2 years of retail experience, strong communication and leadership skills, and be able to work weekends and public holidays in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations.
• Supervise, guide, and motivate the retail team to achieve sales targets.
• Monitor individual and store sales performance and provide coaching where necessary.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist with customer enquiries and feedback.
• Support staff scheduling, deployment, and daily task allocation.
• Ensure proper stock replenishment, stock handling, and inventory accuracy.
• Maintain merchandise displays according to company standards.
• Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
• Assist with stock takes, promotions, and other retail activities.
• Handle operational issues and elevate matters to the Store Manager when necessary.
• Train and guide new staff on company policies, products, and store procedures.
• Ensure all company policies, procedures, and service standards are followed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager or Management.

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of retail experience, preferably with supervisory or team-leading experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Good leadership and people management skills.
• Sales-oriented with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
• Able to work independently and handle day-to-day operational matters.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Able to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Proficiency in English; Mandarin-speaking ability is an advantage.
• Singapore Citizens / Permanent Residents preferred.
