Job summary

Resorts World at Sentosa Pte Ltd is seeking a Retail Supervisor/Manager to lead a high-volume store at Singapore. You will drive sales, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and mentor a team across merchandising, loss prevention, and operations.

Responsibilities include setting sales plans, upselling, training staff, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with policies. Shift work including evenings and weekends is required to support dynamic park operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE ‘N’ Levels or equivalent.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a retail supervisory or management role.
• Experience in theme park or high-volume retail environments are preferred.
• Effectively bilingual for ease of communication with guests.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for achieving store sales targets and minimizing losses.
• Set monthly sales plans and implement in-store challenges to meet goals.
• Drive guest spending through upselling and product knowledge.
• Act as a role model in achieving sales and service excellence.
• Ensure consistent delivery of high guest service standards.
• Provide a welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable service experience.
• Uphold RWS retail experience through product, service, and show excellence.
• Foster teamwork and ownership among staff.
• Support recruitment, retention, and development of Retail Associates.
• Conduct training using company programs and lead by example.
• Demonstrate a professional, motivational, and enthusiastic management style.
• Conduct performance appraisals and counseling sessions professionally.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and company policies.
• Adhere to visual merchandising guidelines and ensure stock availability.
• Communicate stock needs and trends to Merchandising and Operations teams.
• Execute promotional directives and analyze product performance.
• Manage inventory processes including write-offs, transfers, and counts.
• Maintain back store tidiness and window display standards.
• Ensure cleanliness and housekeeping standards in all store zones.
• Coordinate with Facilities/Maintenance for minor works and emergency repairs.
• Maintain shrinkage within company standards (≤1% of net sales).
• Ensure effective zone coverage and adhere to safety and emergency protocols.
• Maintain strong cash handling and control.
• Achieve acceptable audit scores and control in-store expenses.
• Manage labor costs effectively within store operations.
