Responsibilities

  • Participate in all aspects of patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care.
  • Communicate effectively with team members or Nurse Manager regarding patient treatment and care.
  • Perform needling for haemodialysis process.
  • Follow doctor's rounds and implement changes for patients.
  • Educate patients as necessary.
  • Ensure safety during dialysis and report incidents.
  • Document patient care accurately.
  • Ensure availability of supplies and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Participate in quality assurance programs for the centre.
  • Participate in nursing committees as assigned.
  • Assume responsibilities assigned by Nurse Manager.
  • Assist in smooth operation of the dialysis centre.
  • Perform duties delegated by Tzu Chi Foundation Management.
  • Abide by legal nursing practice regulations.
Job description

You will be a part of our nursing team providing a high standard of nursing care to our renal patients.

Job Description:
  • Actively participate in all aspects of patient care by responsible for the assessment, planning, implementing and evaluation of nursing care.
  • Communicate effectively with all team members or Nurse Manager regarding the patient’s treatment and care.
  • Able to perform needling of A-V Fistula, A-V Graft, or through central venous catheter for initiating haemodialysis process.
  • Follow doctor’s round and act in the accordance with the changes made for the patients.
  • Educate patients as and when necessary.
  • Responsible for the safely of the patient while on dialysis, reporting all accidents and incidents and completing all relevant documentation.
  • Keeping track of all data concerning patient care accurately documented and reported by staff.
  • Ensure safe, effective and economical use of apparatus and to obtain optimal operational level and assess the usage and cost of pharmaceutical and medical supplies.
  • Ensure that all supplies and equipment are available for use at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment writing the dialysis centre for patients, staff and public at all times.
  • Participate in the development of any effective quality assurance program for the centre.
  • Participate in nursing committee as assigned by Nurse Manager.
  • Take responsibility assigned by Nurse Manager.
  • Take an active role in participation of a smooth operation of the dialysis centre.
  • Perform the duties delegated by Tzu Chi Foundation Management.
  • Abide by the legal and statutory rules relating to nursing practice by Singapore Nursing Board.
  • Maintain the Standard of Conduct in accordance with the Singapore Nursing Board Code of Conduct for Nurses.
