Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT operations and troubleshooting.
• Advanced Linux administration and automation using Puppet, Ansible, Terraform.
• Programming in Python for tooling and automation.
• Experience with monitoring and observability across multi-domain platforms.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted operational workflows and data sensitivity.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end service delivery for Athena Core platform and infra operations.
• Partner with development and infra teams to ensure resilient deployments.
• Automate toil and build tools across multiple domains.
• Lead performance, resiliency testing, and capacity planning using telemetry.
• Serve as escalation during major incidents and drive incident management.
• Monitor production environments and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership and promote SRE best practices and AI adoption.
• Guide the team in AI-assisted incident triage and safe data handling.
• Apply AI to accelerate patching, migrations, and testing with validations.
• Identify recurring interruption patterns and advocate for secure remediation.
