Job summary

JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. is seeking a Technology Support Lead in the CIB Technology - Athena Core to drive operational stability and performance of production services and core infrastructure platforms.

You will lead end-to-end service delivery, guide resiliency design reviews, and automate toil while working with development and infrastructure teams to ensure compliant, scalable deployments across on-prem and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services.
• Advanced Linux expertise with provisioning and configuration management (Puppet, Ansible, Terraform).
• Strong software engineering skills in Python for design, coding, testing, and delivery.
• Proven ability to build automated tools and services across multiple domains to reduce toil.
• Solid understanding of core infra domains: networking, cloud, orchestration, containers, compute/storage.
• Demonstrated reliability, scalability, performance, security, and enterprise architecture practices.
• Hands-on observability experience with monitoring, SLOs, and telemetry collection.
• Experience in AI capabilities within production ops with validation and data sensitivity awareness.
• ITIL framework experience in IT service management.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end service delivery for Athena Core platform and infrastructure operations.
• Partner with development and infra teams for compliant, resilient deployments and resiliency reviews.
• Automate toil and build/maintain tools spanning multiple tech domains.
• Lead performance, resiliency testing, bottleneck remediation, and capacity planning using telemetry.
• Serve as escalation point during incidents to restore service quickly and minimize business impact.
• Monitor production for anomalies and communicate status with stakeholders during restorations.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship, promoting SRE culture and best practices.
• Lead adoption of AI capabilities to improve incident triage with validation and governance.
• Apply AI-assisted practices across incident/change routines to improve resiliency and security.
