Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science or related disciplines.
• 5+ years supporting critical security-focused applications in large-scale environments.
• Strong knowledge of reliability, scalability, performance, security and enterprise system architecture with toil reduction.
• Fluency in at least one language (Python, Java Spring Boot, .Net) and experience with low latency networks for Electronic Trading Services.
• Deep knowledge of observability and telemetry collection using Grafana, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Datadog, Splunk, etc.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform) and container orchestration (ECS, Kubernetes, Docker).
• Experience troubleshooting networking technologies and issues.
• Willingness to self-educate and teach new languages to team members.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and champions site reliability culture and practices and exerts technical influence throughout your team.
• Leads initiatives to improve reliability and stability using data-driven analytics to improve service levels.
• Collaborates to establish service level indicators and objectives with stakeholders.
• Demonstrates deep technical expertise and resolves bottlenecks in designated domains.
• Acts as the main incident contact to identify and resolve issues quickly to avoid financial losses.
• Documents and shares knowledge within internal forums and communities of practice.
