Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 8+ years in Infrastructure/SRE/Production Engineering or related.
• Experience leading major incident investigations and RCAs in large environments.
• Advanced expertise across network, cloud, compute, middleware, databases, storage, distributed systems.
• Hands-on with observability, SLO/SLI engineering, telemetry, distributed tracing, alerting, reliability metrics, AIOps.
• Understanding of RCA methodologies, systemic failure analysis, risk reduction.
• Experience in regulated, mission-critical environments with availability focus.
• Experience using enterprise AI capabilities with security and data sensitivity.
• Ability to set safe AI usage practices in operations.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management.
• Proven mentoring and cross-functional leadership without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Serves as technical authority for RCA reviews across Major Incidents and significant events.
• Leads deep-dive RCA sessions, validating findings and corrective actions.
• Assess investigations for quality, defensibility, and long-term reliability.
• Drive blameless culture by identifying systemic causes and resilience gaps.
• Collaborate to evaluate observability, telemetry, automation, and resilience.
• Ensure corrective actions address root causes and reduce recurrence.
• Provide independent review of internal and third-party investigation reports.
• Use enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate reliability design and validation.
• Define and promote SLOs, SLIs, reliability metrics, and resilience standards.
• Contribute to SRE communities through mentoring and leadership.
• Lead reuse-first AI-enabled reliability workflows across SDLC/tooling.
