Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer III within the Payments Technology team in Singapore. You will automate deployment, monitor and optimize critical financial systems, and drive end-to-end reliability and scalability.

You’ll collaborate across software engineers to implement robust, secure, and observable platforms. The role emphasizes building and improving on-call readiness, incident response, and proactive problem solving with modern tooling such as Grafana,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Formal training or certification in software engineering.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in site reliability.
• Proficient in SRE culture and principles.
• Proficient in Python, Java/Spring Boot, or .NET.
• Knowledge of observability and telemetry tools.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Terraform.
• Familiarity with containers and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Understanding of networking fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Guide design and consensus-building for deployment approaches.
• Collaborate to implement CI/CD pipelines for releases.
• Design, develop, test, and implement reliable, scalable solutions.
• Implement infrastructure and network as code for applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve complex problems.
• Understand service level indicators and objectives to preempt issues.
• Promote SRE best practices within the team.
