Job summary

regtech insight pte. ltd. is seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Engineering PM to lead large-scale banking technology projects, delivering solutions on time and within budget while ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with stakeholders and mentor cross-functional teams to drive successful outcomes. You will work with Data Architects, Data Engineers, and business leaders to define roadmaps, manage budgets, and communicate effectively with sponsors and vendors.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT project management delivering large-scale Data Engineering solutions.
• Deep Banking/Financial Services domain knowledge.
• Proficient with Agile (Scrum/Kanban), SAFe, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Proficient in Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Excel, and BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Define project scopes, timelines, budgets, and resources for enterprise Data Engineering initiatives to ensure end-to-end delivery.
• Collaborate with Data Architects, Data Engineers, and Business Leaders to define roadmaps, solution architecture strategies, and delivery schedules aligned with business goals.
• Serve as the primary liaison between executive sponsors, technology partners, and vendors to facilitate clear communication and alignment.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate technical, financial, and operational risks proactively to minimize project disruptions.
• Ensure all project deliverables comply with banking regulations, data privacy laws, and data governance standards.
• Own project financials including budget management, profit & loss accountability, forecasting, and resource budgeting.
• Lead and mentor cross-functional Agile/Scrum teams, conduct retrospectives, and support growth of junior PMO members.

• Manage project scopes, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for enterprise Data Engineering and Banking technology initiatives to ensure successful end-to-end delivery
• Collaborate with Data Architects, Data Engineers, and Business Leaders to define project roadmaps, solution architecture strategies, and delivery schedules aligned with business goals
• Serve as the primary liaison between executive business sponsors, technology partners, and third-party vendors to facilitate clear communication and alignment
• Identify, assess, and mitigate technical, financial, and operational risks proactively to minimize project disruptions
• Ensure all project deliverables comply with banking regulations, data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, local central bank guidelines), and data governance standards
• Own project financials including budget management, profit & loss accountability, financial forecasting, and resource budgeting to maintain fiscal discipline
• Lead and mentor cross-functional Agile/Scrum teams, conduct retrospectives, and support the professional growth of junior project managers and PMO members

Required competencies and certifications

• 8+ years of IT project management experience focused on delivering large-scale Data Engineering solutions such as Data Warehousing, Big Data, Cloud Data Lakes, Snowflake, Databricks, and ETL/ELT
• Deep domain expertise in Banking / Financial Services including Core Banking, Risk Management, Regulatory Reporting, Wealth Management, or Payments
• Expert knowledge of Agile (Scrum/Kanban), SAFe, and traditional Waterfall project management methodologies
• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Advanced Excel, and BI tools like Power BI or Tableau
• Certifications: PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
