Job summary

JEET ANALYTICS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Project Tracking & Governance professional to monitor and report on data engineering initiatives in a banking context, including timelines, deliverables, budgets, and resource allocation.

You will coordinate between technical teams, product owners, and business stakeholders, support Agile and Waterfall processes using Jira, Confluence, and MS Project, and help ensure governance and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of PMO or project coordination experience.
• Solid grasp of data engineering concepts like ETL and data warehousing.
• Familiarity with AWS/Azure/GCP is a plus.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, MS Project or Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Track and report project status, timelines, deliverables, budgets, and resources.
• Maintain standard PMO documentation including RAID logs and minutes.
• Coordinate between data engineering teams, product owners, and stakeholders.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and adapt to Waterfall as needed.
• Monitor budgets, invoices, and vendor engagement metrics.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal governance in banking.

Job description

Project Tracking & Governance

Monitor and report on project status, timelines, deliverables, budget, and resource allocation to ensure successful delivery of Data Engineering projects.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain and update standard PMO documentation, including RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), status reports, change requests, and meeting minutes to support project transparency.

Stakeholder Coordination

Serve as the central liaison between technical data engineering teams, product owners, and business stakeholders to facilitate clear communication and alignment.

Agile & Waterfall Facilitation

Support Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and project status reviews using tools like Jira, Confluence, and MS Project to enhance team productivity.

Financial & Resource Management

Assist in tracking project budgets, invoices, resource utilization, and vendor engagement metrics to support financial oversight and resource planning.

Compliance & Governance

Ensure all data engineering initiatives comply with regulatory, compliance, and internal governance frameworks relevant to the banking industry.

Required competencies and certifications

• 2-4 years of PMO or Project Coordination experience.
• Conceptual knowledge of Data Engineering concepts such as ETL pipelines, data warehousing, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and data governance.
• Proficiency with project management tools including Jira, Confluence, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, or Power BI.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Prior experience working in Banking, Financial Services, or Fintech environments.
